Corey Shadd was recently appointed Development Specialist for the Evergreen Foundation. Corey is native to the Shreveport area and is no stranger to Evergreen as he has worked in the Accounting Department at the Home Office in years past, when attending college. He comes back to Evergreen after working in the Development Departments of Centenary College and Holy Angels Residential Facility. Corey is a graduate of Centenary College where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is currently working on a MBA –with an emphasis in Leadership, from Grand Canyon University. Corey has experience in organizing and implementing fundraising events that have raised six-figure amounts and also with donor relations. “I believe in the mission of Evergreen and I am committed to raising money for our clients, to help them build better lives,” Shadd said. Corey will be in charge of events, as well as work with development and other fundraising efforts.
