In addition to mailings, grants and local appeals, Evergreen Foundation utilizes events as a way to raise the much needed funds for the individuals it serves. In 2009, the Foundation Staff hosted both the Celebrity Waiter Dinner in Bossier City, Louisiana and the Under the Texas Stars Gala in Las Colinas, Texas. Through these two events Evergreen netted over $165,000!
